Yes, thats why my '68 is getting a custom FCG aluminum tank under the bed =] I plan on leaving the stock filler neck and cap where it is and just have a hole in my bed floor to fill the tank. I know there a lots of different ways to do the filler if you dont want to cut a hole in the floor. Theres a nice write up in the FAQ section by Shifty that shows how you can make a cheap and no-weld gas cap cover for the hole using the existing stuff, I plan on doing that.
