ah, well it was my first time every doing an actual replacement panel, and it wasnt a very friendly place either hah.. but it only took 5 hours total to get the old metal cut out with a die grinder with a cutting wheel, clean up the inside of the overhead and rustproof it, then get the new panel in. you can see in the picture i didnt do a direct fit because i was too afraid i would cut away too much metal or sit there for wayyy too long trying to fit it properly as 1 whole piece, so i left just a little overlap on the top to play with, and it worked out perfectly since the end of the panel ends right at the corner in the overhead, so theres no bondo ridge or anything after welding it together.
for the other reply, i got the panel from LMC, its in their magazine under the replacement panels section for the cab, i believe its called the inner header panel? 100 bucks from lmc. apparently its such a popularly rusted place they made a replacement panel for it hah.
