If you stay with the 55/60 watt bulbs you shouldn't need a relay. If you go with any higher wattages then you should deffinetly use a relay.
What model jeep did these come out of? NEVER MIND I RE-READ THE FIRST POST AND FOUND THE ANSWER... 08 JEEP WRANGLER.
