Not true, '69 Camaro's had the filler behind the license plate, NOT up between the taillights. That was '67-'68. I belive Chevelles were behind the license plate between '64-'67.

In the one link above, the one using the Camaro tank spaced it down about 1.5" to get the filler in the right location behind the license plate. Even with it spaced down, you almost can not see it from behind.
