Yep the motor mounts will work it's just your basic 1 piece seal SBC The blocks didnt change much over the years. I do my own wiring for the most part so I cant really say what harness is the best. I knowhttp://www.painlessperformance.com/webcatalog/index.php makes decent stuff, but check around before you buy there are several companies that make them. You would need a TPI harness and then you need to know what year you have. They switched from mass air to speed density around 91. The engine harness will be completely separate from the truck harness. Do a search for TPI they used to be popular and there is tons of info. Also if it is a corvette engine it will have aluminum heads and 4 bolt mains. If it has cast iron heads check for 5.7 cast into the block at the back it could be a 305 if it has 5.0. I can take a pic of mine tomorrow if you want to see what I'm talking about.
