If you want it to be 100% correct, tehn get the harness. If you just want it to work, then run a wire from the left terminal (as viewed on the above pic) to a terminal on the fuse box that is hot with the ign switch on (IGN UNFUSED) and then a wire from the terminal on the right out to the neg post on the coil if you have points, ot the TACH terminal on the dist cap if you have HEI.
Very simple to wire up.
