We could not find those spindles or springs, but we can still figure it out.
I mesured the spindles from the 79 I had that are on my truck (was a reg 1/2 ton) and the spindles on a 73 I just got, I mesured from the very bottom of
the spindle to the center divot (backside) of the spindle shaft, and got 2-5/8"
The 73 looked to be closer to 2-3/4" but it is very greasy.
So all you have to do now is mesure yours, then we'll know for sure if they
are different.
