There is a weather-tight connecter right behind the taillight housing for the backup light. (Green Wire). Seperate the rubber boots and you are good to yank the B/U light housing.

Don't I know it...
Could not figure out how it came apart. Cut the wire, pulled it out and was like Doh! Pulled the connector apart on the other side.
