I have NOT used them, 62ss. But, keep in mind the supports that are in the fender region. I had one torn out on my 'good' bedside and it was a pain in the keister to weld that bracket in there. I dont know how they did it in the factory, but there is alot of tension on the bedside to keep it in shape. The bedside I cut it out of popped apart and my buddy and I had to wrestle the bedside around while throwing some spot welds in there to hold it in place while repairing the other.

We got it in but it doesnt have as much tension as the donor panel.

Im wondering if they folded the panel and while it was still in the brake(?) they threw the spot welder on it and then pulled out the whole assembly.
