Like my 72... 305 block, 2bbl 283-327 manifold, early 60's carb, pre 73 alternator brackets though, points distributor. Talk about a junkyard dog. PO's are crazy.
Anybody remember the years on the dipstick sides? Also, there should maybe be a prefix code on the front of the block. 305's have a seperate unique number, and if I remember right, the other prefixes don't really indicate which block, unless it's a 305. Can't remember how the rest go though.
One more thing. Sure it ain't one of them Corvette-option trucks' motors?
