Here's a pic of the fuse block and the back of the switch harness. I wanted to take the switch off, but if you look between my sons fingers in the pic, you can see that the switch metal has a slight staking to hold it on the connector. I did not want to risk breaking something so I left it alone. The lock cylinder has been removed from the switch, so you can use that switch or your own. Now I know why these are so hard to get apart under the dash !! Anyway, I looked for signs of burning or overheating, and the back of the switch harness looks fine.
