A few weeks ago I replaced the rubbers and the rivets(thanks to Gerardo).
You have to drill out the rivet from the top hinge, and remove the nut, spring and little rings from the lower hinge.Put away these parts in the order they came off, otherwise you may get confused later.
It's a hell of a job to put the new rubber in.I spent a few hours fighting with it,and used 2 cans of WD40.
My original rubber was 2 piece (1984),but I got a 1 piece rubber from the shop. There is a differance between the two.The 1 piece rubber doesn't have the steel reinforcement with the little hooks,so I had to glue this part to the frame. You better check this before you order.
Good luck with the work, and if you encounter any difficulties just drop me an email, maybe I can help you out.
