I would think that if you used wire ties to tie both vent hoses to the bed cross sills that your problem would be solved. just make sure the end of the rubber vent lines are higher than the top of your tank. Use a breather valve in the end of the rubber lines to keep anything from getting into them. You could rout them to the inside of the rear cross sill also and that would protect them from debris.
