crossmember will need to b moved back,i was able to use existing holes in the frame to reposition it. i put over 60,000miles on mine with never having the lockup connected never had a problem and it was still a very strong tranny when i parted the truck out
i would strongly suggest a quality performance heavy duty rebuil prior to installation(i hate doing the same job twice)
