The vast majority of people I know who went this route later went to 8 valves (or 6). The 4-valve setup has an inherent problem in that it allows air to be transferred from side to side. As a result, you end up with a lean problem when cornering because the air on the 'heavy' side transfers to the other side, thus causing more lean... rinse and repeat. The 8-valve setup isolates the sides from one another, which eliminates this problem.
