I've got an old floor switch from a LWB that had 3 tanks. You just selected 1 tank at a time...
The best way I would think of doing what you're talking about, would be to "T" connect the drain portion of the tanks, and add a "T" for an air line that connected the tanks. Then just run 1 line up to the fule pump. Would also allow for a return line to 1 of the tanks, since really they'd all be connected.
