Check the striker bolts where the door latches when you close it. It should have a plastic bushing on it and most of the time they're gone. If that's the case, go to the HELP section at an automotive store. They have a kit that has the size that will fit right over the striker bolt. You just have to remove the striker bolt, tap it on and then reinstall. It makes a huge difference and it should close all the way much easier, provided the door doesn't sag from worn out hinges.
