Word of caution. Be extremely careful when prying between the hood and the metal brace to slip the pad in. The top of the hood can be easily bent. Also, unless you need them, don't replace the ones in the very front of the hood. That's harder to pry apart.
I used a wide wooden wedge shaped piece to slowly and carefuly tap and pry the area just wide enough to slip the pad in -the second time I did it.
