Just a thought. On another message board a guy in Europe had an Olds he was needing parts for, hood, fenders, seat frames. He had another member collect the parts on the east coast, found someone else that was shipping a complete car to Europe and stuffed his stuff in the container for a small fee. You might check with freight forwarders to see if they work to bundle short loads into container size loads. I also once shipped an engine in the trunk of another car that was being shipped cross country, guy was glad to get some cash to offset his shipping costs.
