Yeah, that's the problem I'm having with putting together an offer. He hasn't given me a price, and I don't want to pay too much. I also don't want to low-ball him, for obvious reasons...
The truck isn't perfect, and the line is there if it should be left alone or restored. The original paint shines nicely, but it was driven, so it does have small rock chips and a few scratches, etc... The body is totally beautiful though, with all original panels, so it would be an easy re-finish. I've had a number of cars, and they're only original once. I like original, so I'd more than likely just leave it alone...
