Well it might be a little extreme...but not much. it really takes one skilled person with 4 hands and who can be in two places at once.
The last time I had it done the shop had the truck for 24 hours. They did a great job. I'm very picky and I work with glass myself. This is above my skill level. A friend of mine recently had one put in here locally by "an old pro" and he couldn't get the thing in. It was not locked it on the top correctly.
My point is that this type of glass installation isn't done much on cars anymore. So please ask the glass shop if they have ever done one before you hand your truck over to them. And true..A drop in,glued down windshield can be done on most cars in just a few minutes by one guy.
