The ratios are slightly different TH350 to TH400 but only slightly . The difference you felt was probably the fact that the TH350 uses quite a bit less power to operate than the TH400 does which frees up more power to push that big old pig down the road. It could have been other things though. Comparing trucks is difficult unless EVERYTHING else is the same.
