I saw something like you were describing in a newer mag..."8-lug" I think. The guy made a fiberglass mold and then airbrushed a really wicked skull theme on it. It was really cool. He took the original molded liner and made it from that.
I would think you would have to make it in a few pieces and have the seams at the original molded spots...? But, then again, you do have a shortened roof. A one piece would seem a bit hard to work with.
The original pieces are too flimsy to make a mold from.
I'm sure you'll wow us though!
