yes, moneyeater, the engine was still going strong, but upon looking at connecting rods when my son removed the bearings, they were down to the copper already. I guess it was time to rebuild. It was a good thing he decided to rebuild now rather than later, as he's gonna use this truck as his ride back and forth to wyotech starting in august in sacramento california.
