I am running a pair of 14" Flexs a lites in front of my 383(mounted on a steel shelf.)...keeps her nice & cool. The PAINLESS controls are worth what you pay for them. The controls are on @ 185/off 170.....temp runs tween 175-185 ALL day long, on the HOTTEST days in Illinois  Those fans are coolin a 385 horse 383....crazyL
