There's no point in making it "adjustable" If you're going to make one just set the truck at your ride level and put one side to the rear end and the other side to the frame and wha la!

Moving the stock plate helps with a large drop, the rod will bottom out unless you move it. I moved mine to the inside of the rail but i have seen them on top of the rails as well.
