It looks very similar to the seal thingy that went between the kickdown cable and the transmission on my TH350. It was about a 1/4 inch in diameter. It looks like the one on the dipstick, but much smaller.
I had a similar problem when I tried to get one for my cable at O'Reilly. Mine was missing, and I had never seen one. The guy at O'Reilly had not either. My book said there was supposed to be something there. I felt like an idiot asking for it. It was like the blind leading the blind!
