Just spoke to M&H Elec. Fab. and was told it is correct to hook the red and black wire together on the stud of the block(ASM-SPL JUNC) mounted on the pass. side fender. The fused black wire(4 amp), with a white tracer on opposite side of truck, is to power up Ampere Gauge. Now to clean it up and antiseize the post

Soooo, this is the rare situation where red and black go together

...confusion solved, onward
