Mongo is probably right.. putting the control arms and spindles would probably be the easist way to go, however, one look at those newer control arms and you would probably ask yourself: why would I put these in my truck? In considering a similar swap(81 donor to 66) the control arms and bushing set from the 81 just don't hold a candle to the old style. The 81 is just plain old cheap!!! I have driven one truck (66) daily driver for almost 15 years before I had to replace both bushings and shaft on the lower control arm. The ball joints come from the 81 and fit into the newer spindles, the "old" outer tie rod ends become the "new" inner (Fatman fabrications has the tie rod adapter $50.00) drag link and idler arm remain from your 63.
