cheyenne superman is there in abilene. they finally got that drag strip done and over with, huh? when i was stationed there they were dragging there feet about it. the junk yards are kinda high priced around abilene but you should be able to find a 373 rear end. you will have to find one from 67-72 if you don't want to reweld new brackets on a newer truck rear end. you could use the new truck 10 bolts, but i wouldn't think it be as strong. the cars have smaller track widths so you would have to run spacers and that's not safe for drag racing. hope this helps...
