CAR REARS DON'T INTERCHANGE WITH TRUCKS. The last year for cars was like 1971 then all GM went to corporate 10 bolt 8.5". gotta watch around the 69-70 era as all the gm makes had their own unique 12 bolts. chevys being most popular of course. best place to look for one under a truck from 78-81 is a diesel and there are plenty of dead ones in the bone yards.
