Here's my view. I think a nicely done, new spray in liner looks great....show or haul. My worries would be 1) fading over time and 2) when you try to sell it, would the buyer think you were hiding something?
If you're concerned about #2, make sure the underside of the bed looks good.
I'd love to spray a liner in mine and might some day. The problem is, the truck lives outside and I don;t want it to fade from the sun. A chalky liner looks like crap. For a garaged truck I think it would be a great idea.
