are we talking about a 67 - 72?
The oil pressure is mechanical, soit has a pipe,not a wire, and it is at the back of the block by the intake. On the head, between the exhaust ports, that's the temperature sensor, but it gets a green wire.
Do you have a photo of this wire? Where is it located under the hood?
