OK I think I've got it; The transmission output flange is parallel to the one behind the center bearing and there's only the chance that one section is 180 degrees off, right?
Anyway while ;looking at it I noticed that the rubber thing aroung the center bearing alows the shaft to move at least 1/2 just with hand pressure and yet another u-joint is showing some play.
