Great link joe. Instantly recognized the Dana 60 cover. Exactly what i have.

Lilred, I was ill informed on wheel selection for 8 lug apparently.
I asked a guy at work about using 8 lug wheels off newer GMC or Chevy trucks and he said they were different and couldn't do it. I bought a set of old F#%^ 8 lug wheels i thought would look good on the truck and he said i couldn't use them because the bolts would break, something about how the wheel is tapered or not tapered differently and all the stress would be on the bolts.

Is any of this even remotely true? Or have i just assumed this guy knew his stuff? I mean, the guy does know his stuff with repairing and diagnosing cars, but i've been wondering about all the truck crap he's been feeding me.
