Re: Trying to figure out what chassis my truck is on.
The frame should have the VIN stamped on the top flange on the drivers side close to the motor mount. The engine will also have a partial VIN along with the build code stamped on a pad in front of the passenger side head. It will be behind the alternator if yours is on that side. Probably have to scrape off dirt, grease and paint to see it.
