We'll I guess I'm back here talking about my ticking noise again
. So here it is. Everything was going fine since the last oil change then I drove it to the coast aprox 2 hours away. Came back and it was doing it really bad. Talked to the service manager at the place I bought it from and he said he would take a look at it. He thinks its a stuck lifer. They put a quart of Rislone in it. He said its an additive to help stuck lifters. It helped til I drove it to Medford aprox 30 minutes away. Now its doing it again and did it tonight the worst it ever has. So I'm taking it back in this week to see what they can do. Thats pretty interesting about the transmission fluid. What does he use, like 5 quarts reg oil and 1 quart trans? I will ask them if there would be any downfalls to using it. I wouldn't see why. It seems like my truck likes to start after long trips.
