Does the truck have an anti-hop shock in it stock? It's a single shock on one side of the rear end that is horizontal and attaches to the frame to prevent wheel hop. I his doesn't, you might want to start scouring junkyards for the shock and frame bracket. The axle bracket should already be on the rear end.
My 03 4.3/5speed 2wd came with one and it helps with wheel hop.
