Most people don't use the '69-'71 a/c because they are not usually in good condition, but if the one you might get is, then grab it if you want to. To get to the back, there are lines that run from the front to the back that supplies the freon. It then goes to the evaporator in the rear unit, then to the vents. The rear unit has a blower in it. If its just going to be for yourself, a.c from a truck or aftermarket would work.
