I have heard that heat that is generated in certain circumstances can make the brake fluid heat to the boiling point. That would not be a good thing. Now, is it possible that you may experience that? Don't know. Depends on what is causing the drag. But heat will be the result of the friction. How much of it transfers is not within my scope of knowledge.
