Nice project. You would be ahead finding a good rustfree cab if it's possible in your area. Some areas like mine in SW Wisconsin they are hard to come by so I am reworking my '82's cab, but it does not need too much work. If I were you, i'd try to find something better if you have the funds. Keep us posted.
