I purchased a billet shifter handle for my truck and the end that releases the shift lock out is too short. The company on ebay i bought it from said that they sell dozens and never had this issue b4.
Can anyone tell by looking at the pics whether my original is for a 1971 or not. I had to file the adapter on the end so it would fit into the square hole on the bowl but noticed the other problem after i had filed it so no returns for me. I only had to file off .004 to make it fit nicely.
