Truthfully, I have my GMC because the price was right- I was actually looking for a Chevy, but couldn't pass up the deal I got.

My sisters '65 Chevy -R.I.P- (the truck, not the sister) was the nostalgic reason for the purchase. 1/2 ton,350, powerglide, camper shell on the back, I went camping all over in that truck for years. It was a constant companion through my childhood.

But I love mine- I love the 4 headlights and the grille. I love the 8lugs, the 250, the drum brakes, the manual steering, the granny low 4speed, even the 4.56 gears.

I'm partial to fleetsides and longbeds, but I like every one of these trucks that I see, whether lifted or slammed, stock or wild, farm truck or trailer queen, GMC or Chevy.
