It is a hydraulic clutch, some of the issues might be why the truck came with the bottle of brake fluid under the hood
you have a dual resivor master cylinder, and one side is the clutch , I am not sure on these, but the clutch and brakes might be tied together in that master cylinder, if one is low the other suffers...
