Re: How do you disassemble Rear Shackle on 48
Take out the grease fittings,
remove the bolt that hold the shackle ends together.
Hit the shackle thin edge with a hammer it should break loose.
Grab the shackle pin with some vise grips and screw it out. They can be difficult to get out. I have in the past replaced the entire frame mount because I couldn't get the pin out.
