Re: Yes, It Is For Sale !!!!
Here are some details.
Almost rust free farm truck I bought back in 95. There is a small rust though on a cab mount and a small hole where the jack parts go behind the seat. These not major rust areas. The rockers had already been replaced way before I got this truck. Still solid.
This has a little over 110,000 original miles. It had 97,000 on it when I bought it. Nothing has ever been cut on this, not even the floor. Has all original sheet metal except for the cowl hood & repo tail gate. Solid, tight truck & no rattles. No body filler except where I block sanded & found low spots. This is NOT a frame off. Just a really nice redo of the exterior, interior & mechanicals.
Paint is 2 gallons of base coat Aqua Blue Pearl urethane with 1 gallon of clear coat. Paint sanded and buffed smooth. I did not paint inside the bed nor the inside of the cab. I have not detailed the frame except where parts were replaced.
Interior has the original seat with new custom design cover that matches the custom door panels. 70c10 did a fantastic job of the design & building of the door panels. Comes with factory headliner installed. Map light rear view mirror, under dash courtesy lights, tilt wheel with GM Custom Grip Sport Steering wheel, Sunpro gages including vacuum, etc., stock speedo & gas gage, Camaro tach conversion, radio delete. Basically, all new interior.
All chrome is either NOS or repo.......
All tinted glass except rear windows which has been smoke tinted. New windshield installed. All door locks & mechanics work. Everything works on this truck except the backup lights that I haven't hooked.
This truck was originally a 350 sbc with 3spd manual trans that I converted to auto & also added power steering. This has a minor oil leak at the timing cover harmonic balancer seal. Easy fix. Has a 3.73 rear, & converted to front disk brakes with all new brake lines, front to back. 6 lug truck rallies all around.
Custom motor mounts that use later model car mount rubber. There are just way too many more things I've did to this truck. Just turn the key and go.
I have all building pictures in an album along with all receipts.
It will need the passing gear cable hooked up to the carb. I never bothered to do that as I was going to install a 700r that I will also include in the sale that is ready to install.
I have around 75 miles on the engine. If you all remember, I had a 383 installed in this truck, but swapped it out to get some better gas mileage. The current engine has been rebuilt with a mild cam & parts from Summit. Holley rebuilt 600 vac secondaries, Weiand Stealth intake, Old Edelbrock valve covers, Skip White HEI dizzy, coated Hedman headers (p.i.a.) with turbo mufflers. I don't care too much for the exhaust system on this. I was going to be replace it with different headers & new piping out the back.
This will be a super nice driver for someone.
