I had that exact same problem but I came to a complete stop and made my mother-in-law get out!!!!
That is one of those things that can be hard to diagnose without riding in it. I know you need to be on a lonely road for this one but maybe get someone in the bed when you are going down the road to see if they can figure what part of the drivetrain it might be coming from.
