Kelly I have done some looking around on a couple of sites and the reg cabs are somewhat scarce. I haven't found a single pic of an 05 short Z yet. Appears most of the trucks sold these days are excabs in 2 or 4 wd. My bil just sold his 2000 Chevy reg cab Z71 and while shopping for a newer one the dealer told him the reg cab Z trucks are way hard to come by. Said he would have paid almost twice what bil got for his. Of course that made him ill..
If that '05 don't pan out you might as well join the rest of us and get an excab. You'll like the extra room and ride anyway.
