IIRC, the biggest problem you are going to have is the later frame is much wider then the 59. The 59 is more of a ladder frame where the rails a straight, front to back.

A very common frame swap on 47-59 trucks is an S-10 frame. You might be better off using one of those and there should be a bunch of aftermarket pre-runner stuff for that frame.

No matter what you do, it's not going to be cheap, especially if you don't have a garage full of fab equipment. Good luck and post up pics if you get this project going.
