one suggestion,
when you drill new holes, make sure to reinforce the underside, otherwise in an accident, the bolts/washers can rip right through the floor (ask me how i know  ).
a couple pieces of plate, will help distribute the force, and the details are up to you (one square at each bolt, one strip each side, welded, bolted, etc)...
